Meet Finley, the College of Computing & Engineering’s Assistant Chatbot


NSU’s College of Computing & Engineering is enabling it’s Chatbot Finley to help prospective students find programs and answers to commonly asked questions.

We would like to introduce you to Finley, College of Computing and Engineering chatbot. Finley was designed to help prospective students find undergraduate, masters, and doctoral program offerings at the college. Additionally, Finley can answer some of the most commonly asked questions such as:


  • What are the qualifications of the faculty?
  • Where are graduates working now?
  • Are the Master's programs online only?
  • What is the University's accreditation?
  • Where are you located?
  • When are the application deadlines?

There are 32 questions in total that Finley can answer. We plan on continuing to add additional questions and answers to Finley throughout the year.


Does Finley support current students, faculty, or staff members?


No, Finley is designed to help prospective students today. Current students, faculty, and staff members should log into the SharkLink portal to ask their questions to the Julie chatbot.
