Research Areas: computer graphics and visualization, algorithms, programming languages

Dr. Michael Laszlo has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Princeton University and a B.A. in Mathematics from Vassar College. He worked at Bell Laboratories for three years prior to attending Princeton, and joined NSU in late 1994. He has three book publications in the area of computer graphics, as well as publications in journals including IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, Discrete Applied Mathematics, Journal of Systems and Software, Operations Research Letters, Optimization Letters, and Pattern Recognition Letters. Michael enjoys swimming, kayaking, running, and hiking.
