Association for Information Systems (AIS)
The Association for Information Systems (AIS) serves society through the advancement of knowledge and the promotion of excellence in the practice and study of information systems. AIS is the premier professional association for individuals and organizations who lead the research, teaching, practice, and study of information systems worldwide (www.aisnet.org).
Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) AIS Student Chapter is open to all College of Computing and Engineering (CCE) students pursuing a master's or doctoral degree in Information Systems or related field.
Our purpose is to:
- Promote study, application, and advancement of Information Systems through career enhancement.
- Coordinate the activities of the Association to the interest of the student and to enhance career development.
- Foster mutual understanding and cooperation with other AIS chapters in the interest of the student.
- Promote an environment of growth, culture, exchange and development among students of all backgrounds.
Activities/Events:
CCE’s AIS Student Chapter hosts online webinars and workshops and participates in orientation and other CCE-sponsored activities and events. Many of the AIS Student Chapter members participate in various conferences throughout the year.
